Color Ink

Chen Ting-Shih once said: "Artists should explore and try to create in as many ways as possible, and then compare and choose from trials. There is no ultimate in art. All creations are a result of your choices." After Chen back to Taiwan from the US in 1976, he made some new adjustments. He splashed the ink on the rice paper to make them cover each other layer by layer, which is like the picturesque scene in Jiangnan and different from the scenery in the north. He kept doing Color Ink till 1988. Given that the bagasse boards were out of production, color ink is another way to show the beauty of the east.
